The competition, organised by the Doctoral Schools of the University of Alcalá, the Autonomous University of Madrid, the Complutense University of Madrid and the King Juan Carlos University, challenges participants to explain their projects to the public through a simple and enriching language. In this way, the work of researchers in training is brought closer to society with the aim of instilling in them an interest in the popularisation and dissemination of science.

The effort will be rewarded at the final of the event to be held on 13 June at the Autonomous University of Madrid with five prizes of 600 euros, one for each branch of knowledge. Prizes of 100 euros will also be awarded to the rest of the contestants who have participated in the final phase. The prizes will be provided by the Ignacio Larramendi Foundation and by the organising universities.
