Students who have defended their thesis during the previous academic year will be able to request for the Extraordinary Prize under two conditions:
The thesis must have been graded as “outstanding” and awarded the distinction of “cum laude”.
In the case of five-member panels, at least four members should deem the thesis worthy of the award. Applications for the extraordinary prize which do not have the support of at least four favourable replies from panel members will be rejected automatically.
In the case of three-member panels, all the members should deem the thesis worthy of the award.
